Come on into our kitchen!
We love food! Thank goodness for my boyfriend. If it wasn't for him, I would still be eating Roman. We are YouTube addicts. While I'm watching makeup videos, he'll be finding great recipes. He cooks amazing food, like, baby back ribs, T-Bone steak, sweet potato fries, fair style fries, BBQ pizza, bacon stuffed baked potato.....ugh, I can't even list them all. What a terrible predicament, huh?
This rustic window treatment was a super easy project. I saw it on pinterest. They were using it to hang kids artwork. I saw it and was like, "I have a long board and some clothespins!" I cut the board to length and wood glued the clothespins on every few inches. Then I stained the whole thing. A couple yards of fabric to swag and a few country style accessories completed this easy, rustic, no-sew window treatment!
A vintage hymnal holder stores our favorite recipe books!
My boyfriend is a lot more involved in my DIY projects than people realize. This chalkboard paint project was entirely his idea.
We used chalkboard paint on the front of the kitchen cabinets. The picture/ description on the front lets us know what's inside. At first, it was a good way to know what we had in stock. After a while though, we got lazy and would forget to erase the item off the cabinet. Then we would forget we didn't really have anymore because we didn't erase it! Oh well, it was a great idea. Now the pictures just remind us where stuff is located.
Would you do this to your kitchen cabinets?
