My twitter account was hacked! So, let me share these dog tweets before I delete my account....
I liked (PAST tense) having a twitter account to rant and document funny quotes and life happenings. HOWEVER, my account was hacked over a year ago by a porn hacker; my bio pic was replaced with a large (close-up) vagina and I had "liked" 3000+ NA-HA-STY tweets. I deleted the vagina, but could only "unlike" so many of those tweets before my thumbs were sore. I'm over twitter anyway, but I've been holding onto my account because I didn't want to forget these goofy dog tweets that only people with dogs will understand....
My pit-bulls never cease to make me laugh and totally gross me out!
I hope you enjoyed a giggle or two!

Hey! It's been a while! I am finally feeling better! Thanks mostly to a little drug called, Zofran. We have been VERY busy; childbirth classes, weekly ultrasounds, midwife appointments, planning our baby shower, working full time....
I have gained 35 pounds! IDK how my baby could be considered small when I feel HUGE! I swear, the food input does NOT match the output! I am so uncomfortable! I'm 37 weeks here! Soooo close and getting nervous! We have been carting our butts to Burlington every week for ultrasounds and stress tests. Thank goodness Tylan drives. One day I was so tired, I slept the whole way home. I know, I know.... I will never sleep again, so take it where I can, right? LOL!
We hosted our own baby shower. So, we really CLEANED house! I swear, our house has never been as clean and organized as that day. It will never happen again. Picture worthy highlights....
We received such great baby shower gifts! A bit overwhelming! Now, where to put it all?! Baby's room needs a lot of work still. By the way, we do not know the gender of our baby. It will be a fun surprise!
Bought a few bouquets from Hannaford's. They really made things extra special!
The pumpkins are from our garden! IDK what happened, but they all ended up mini! LOL!
I changed out the hardware on this thrift store chest my mother found. It will make a great changing table.... at some point. Like I said, baby doesn't have a room yet. So, we'll be diaper changing in the middle of our dining room. Appetizing....
I reused an embroidery hoop from my Embroidery Hoop project. My mom gave me some cool food themed dish towels. I thought the graphics on them were too cool to just dry my dishes with. So, I decided to use them as art! I just squished them between the embroidery hoops and hung with a tack!
Tylan whipped together a cool wood storage system out of wood slabs and metal poles.
He also welded a cool spider sculpture for a little Halloween decor! I HATE spiders, but how cool is this?!
Our new grey couch covers from eBay are a little tight, but they really lighten the look of the room. Because the slipcover wouldn't stay put, I decided to wrap the cushions in a fleece sheet. Looks cool and keeps the slipcover in place better. Most importantly, LuLu the pit-bull finds fleece comfortable ;)
We have been going to weekly childbirth classes. Our last day of class, everyone brought in food to share. We were sooo proud to bring deviled eggs made with our chicken eggs, salsa made with tomatoes from our garden, and BBQ chicken dip made with our chicken meat! Those are peanut butter cookies too! Not from scratch, but still good.
IDK if the furbabies realize a real baby is about to terrorize their lives....
See you in a few weeks! I'll have a BABY to introduce you to!

I stole this from my mothers front porch. This cute stool was covered in cobb webs and brochures to places my mother was never going to! I have had my eye on it for awhile, thinking I could make it into a cat feeder. I knew it wasn't going anywhere. You can rest assure a hoarder will keep everything, FOR-EV-ER!
I finally...um... "moved" my mothers sacred brochures and cleaned away the cobb webs. I had my boyfriend help me cut the holes with a jigsaw. We found small stainless steel bowls at Wal-Mart. We turned the bowls upside down and traced around them. We used a jigsaw to cut the holes just slightly smaller than the bowls. Then, I sanded the whole thing.
I love natural wood, but I also love the look of fresh white paint. So, I did both! I stained the top and bottom and painted the sides white. I wanted to get creative with the hearts on the sides. I had a few different ideas. I thought maybe I'd paint just the inside of the hearts red to help them stand out. Instead, I decided the heart reminded me of a cat face. I used a permanent marker to draw the whiskers and ears!
My cat is so spoiled. She does whatever she wants. A life I admire. I swear, she sleeps all winter and runs all summer. Winter has been nice cause I can always find her in the house to cuddle and annoy. Now spring is in the air and she's running. I am now ONLY the hand that feeds. No longer the lap that cuddles. Boo hoo :( Until next winter....
In the meantime, I'll be on Hometalk, looking for my next project. Hometalk is my crafty little secret. It's like Pinterest, but all about home stuff. There are so many projects you'd never see anywhere else. I swear, check out my boards. I guarantee you've never seen people get so creative.
What if you used two doll sized chairs, like the one pictured above, and used it for cats or small dogs? How Cute?! Or I guess, if you have a huge dog, you could use a human size chair?! Right? LOL!!

Sometimes I have things sitting around our house for years collecting dust, then one day it hits me. BAM! Great idea! This bench used to hold magazines and other piles of junk. It was the perfect height for our Rottweiler. We used a jigsaw to cut the holes slightly smaller than the bowl size. I painted the whole thing and added accessories! Super easy!
Would your dog love this? Let me know! Leave a comment.
What else could you do with a bench like this?

If you are a pinterest addict like me, you have probably seen this before. Seems like everyone is turning their end tables into beds for their furry friends. As they should! What a great use of old furniture and what a great way to show your BFF (Best Furry Friend) how much you love them!
This was an old, dusty end table. Cleaned up, it gave Dusty, the cat, a wonderful bed. I didn't want to paint it. I thought it looked sort of Downton Abby, Victorian four poster bed feel. So, I just polished it up and kept the materials in the Victorian theme. It turned out pretty regal!
The front and back curtains are made of a dress slip and stapled to the inside. The side curtains are part of an unused bed-skirt. The pillow is left over craft fleece stuffed in a pillow case.
Scrapbook paper lays under the glass, but I guess we could have left it clear like a kitty skylight!
