This chandelier was a gift we received for Christmas a few years ago. I added the beads and dangles and we used it as it came, a candelabra. Then a couple years later I discovered Pinterest and saw people adding solar lights to everything from mason jars to beautiful antique chandeliers.
-Chandelier or other glass objects your solar lights will fit
-Solar lights (I found mine at Wal-Mart for $7, I've also found them at the dollar store)
Take the solar light apart. Usually they come on a stake that sticks into the ground. All you want for these projects is the top part with the solar strip and light. Add glue to either the solar light or the glass holder and smoosh the two together. Let dry as directed by the package, usually dries in 10 minutes and sets completely in 24hrs or something similar.
I absolutely adore having a chandelier outside! It really brings a cozy, homey feeling to our outdoor space.
