I haven't felt very creative lately. In order to DIY and create something, I'd have to remove my head from the toilet. I've been here, at the toilet, for 4 months. Welcome.....
Ingredients: -picture frame -ultrasound picture -cardstock/ paper for background -baby-related scrapbook pieces -tape/ glue -pen/ marker
So, in between pukes, I cut 2 pieces of white cardstock to fit the picture frames. These will be the background everything gets taped or glued to. The hospital printed me 3 copies (we kept 1 of course) of my ultrasound. So, I cut them apart and taped them to my cardstock. Then, I searched my accordian folder for some baby-related scrapbook pieces. To my surprise, I actually had some. These scraps were part of Christmas and present themed scrap packages. I added our due date to the presents and stuck the scraps to the cardstock. Popped into dollar store picture frames, these made great Mother's Day gifts for our mothers!
I'm FINALLY starting to be excited. For the first 4 months I felt just awful. Like I had the flu for 4 months straight. Now that I can feel tiny movements in there, it finally feels real. I still feel horrible and sleep an ungodly amount (12-15 hours), but I feel like there is a legit reason. Growing a human is seriously tiring!
Do you have another idea for how to jazz up ultrasound prints? Comment below! Until next time.... (it may be awhile!) Stay gold. Hey! You'll love these too!
