Crafting for Dummies! Is that a book yet? This has to be the easiest and fastest project! This cost me $3 to make (excluding glue). I picked up all the supplies for this project at the dollar store!
Think of the possibilities with a tray like this! Do you think you could do a 3 tiered tray?!
-1 candle stick
First, clean all your pieces. Mine had price stickers and fingerprints. A little GooGone or olive oil will get any sticky residue off.
Figure out your tray configuration. Add glue to the bottom of the candlestick and place it in the middle of the tray.
Now, add glue to the top of the candlestick and place the second tray on top. Let it dry overnight.
SIDE NOTE: Personal care products are not regulated by the FDA because they are not considered edibles. Companies can use ingredients that are known carcinogens, mutagens, or reproductive toxins. Your skin is your largest organ and it absorbs 60% of what you put on it. Lipstick/ lip-gloss is easily ingested and may contain lead! Your mascara may contain mercury. Formaldehyde may be in your nail polish. Many common sunscreens contain a hormone disrupter called, oxybenzone. Titanium dioxide is a cancer causing chemical found in sunscreen and cosmetics.
How about using this stand in the kitchen to display cupcakes? Or in the bathroom for supplies? Or jewelry in your closet? What will you use your tray for? Leave me a comment below.
