My mother has been saving me Pringles cans and old spaghetti sauce jars for way too long now. I used to make homemade dog treats and store them in these scrapbook paper covered Pringles cans. Now I just use them to store anything and everything. These jars look so pretty and colorful, they look like candy! Yum!
Go crazy and spray paint your jar lids for a more finished look!
I found this old wine rack at a thrift shop. I used to store magazines in this rack until I tired of my magazines being permanently rolled.
I found that oat containers fit this perfectly! I covered them in scrapbook paper and taped to secure. Voila! My craft supplies are corralled, yet easy to see and access.
Is there anything you can't use a mason jar for? In my house, we store leftover food in them, packed lunches, craft supplies, makeup...
This mason jar sits in a clamp screwed to our pallet mirror frame in our bathroom and stores toothpaste and toothbrushes.
Three old candle jars, cleaned out and filled with common bathroom supplies, sit in a vintage wooden box. I love these jars because they have lids!
DIY air freshener! Use a vintage spice shaker to freshen any room! Combine a few drops of your favorite essential oil and some baking soda and add to your shaker! Change once a month.
My mother has had this old chicken feeder, well, since we had chickens.... 15 years ago. I've wanted to steal it and use it for.... 15 years. I stole. I conquered.
How about using a chicken feeder as a message station?! Don't ya know, recycled jars fit perfect?!
The handle broke off this thermos. I was going to deem it as, "unusable." Then I took a closer look.
I realized we could still use the thermos if we could replace the handle. Without a handle, this water bottle would have to stay stationary or be awkwardly carried. It's a good size thermos, not a one person water bottle.
You know me, I am a Betsey Johnson handbag freak. When you buy a handbag, most come with a detachable shoulder strap. I never use the shoulder strap, but I do keep them because they are Betsey. Duh! My brain clicked when I thought about my PILE of Betsey shoulder straps. Voila. Usable again.
Do you recycle? Do you reuse things in new ways? Hit me up! I wanna check it out!
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time.... stay gold.

I found this wine rack at a thrift shop awhile ago. At one time, we used this to store magazines. We would roll them up and set them in the rack. I soon tired of my magazines being permanently rolled up AND, with pinterest, who even needs magazines anymore?
We have an over abundance of oat containers here in our house. I read somewhere that adding oats to your dogs food helps to clean their teeth. So, we have lots of empty oat containers. I realized they fit perfectly in this rack. Then, I covered the containers with scrapbook paper to dress them up. What a great craft storage idea, right?
Thanks for stumbling upon my website!
